Where were you in '92? In 1992 LA based rock band, Get Back Jack, was one of the hottest draws on the local club scene.  Featuring a unique sound owing to a blend of churning guitars, a pounding rhythm section, soaring backing vocals and searing sax solos, the band was widely anticipated to be on the brink of releasing its debut album. But in February of 1993 the lead singer, Jack, disappeared. Along with Jack the studio tapes of the album, "Thunder Bay", also disappeared.  It was rumored that Jack abandoned the US completely, determined to leave everything behind in a quest that eerily echoed the theme of the album's title track - a search for refuge, relevance, and redemption. Late in 2018 , after years of following numerous tips that eventually led nowhere, we received an anonymous call regarding a quaint little Australian town called Wollstonecraft, on Sydney's North Shore.
